I kind of want to move to my moms friend’s house. They live in a different town about 2 hrs away. I love my school but lately I just want to get away from stress. I have a broken heart and don’t want to see this guy anymore at all. So I was thinking that I might be able to move away and experience a new school and meet new people. Would you move away if you had only one yr left?

To be honest I wouldn’t. But that’s my situation. I have lifetime friends there, I love all the people at my school, my crush goes there, and love where I live. If I didn’t have those things than I might move.

I live in sacramento and a buddy of mine lives in downtown area the name of the hotel is shasta hotel I believe its on 10 and k st and he pays around 200 a month for a room

What if you live in an assisted living and you have some over the counter medicines, creams and so on and….?

when you leave for 2 days on christmas and lock your door. The staff goes in and cleans out all your creams and so on. Not telling you anything about it. Is this a legal issue or ethical and what can be done about this?

Technically in an assisted living facility ANY medications, prescription or not, should be kept in the medication cart or cabinet by the staff. Having them in the room is a liability and it’s too easy for others to raid. Not to mention all medications need to be monitored and dispensed only by delegated staff. However the staff should have been professional enough to discuss the situation with the resident instead of simply removing them from the room.

I am looking for books that would assist/guide someone in opening a live music venue.

essentially i hope to find a book on a complete subject about live music venue management and production…
-jobs need for the upkeep of a venue
-the best steps to take
-personal experience (autobiographical)
-what is needed to successfully operate this type of business

**not looking for a book about the ‘inside’ music business per-say (this is usually for musical artists as well as record label management)

it seems there is a book on anything–everything. I do suggest you start with a few
books JUST on starting a biz. Entrepreneurship and on small biz mgt

then, learn to write a biz plan

then, determine what type of biz you want to produce-make.
I was raised by a pro musician.

Also, visit several night clubs during the day and ask to speak to the owner[s]. I am sure
one of them will be glad to have you meet their current DJ[s].
