Question by illuminate: CHRISTians I need you?
CHRISTtians i need you.?
Im going to try to make this as clear as possible so i can get the max help from the people that want to assist me. First of all if your going to promote your own personal faith other than Jesus Christ Atheism etc save it. Unless your going to present me an argument on why the Bible *Old and new testament are false i dont want to hear it.

i believe i got saved around 2 years ago. But for the past 2 weeks or so ive been really living like an unbeliever (my friends couldnt tell because its whats going on in my personal life that only i see) and i freely admit that im being so enslaved onto certain sins such as pornography, gluttony, FB addiction, lust, reminiscing on my old life in general, hate thats in my life towards others just all these things that God is putting his finger on)

I saw a video on youtube where the guy said something along the lines of “If your not conquering a certain sin than maybe you dont have the holy spirit in you to conquer it because the holy spirit helps you conquer sin” if i dont have the holy spirit than im not saved. I also know that people can go for years maybe even their whole life thinking their saved when they are not (refer to matthew 7:22) My question really is. If im keep on going astray from Gods will and his Road when its clear cut to me most of the time does that mean im not saved?

I really dont have any spiritually mature Christians in my life to influence me. (i cant really hang out with my church because my folks are strictly against me going to church and they give me a really really hard time for it.) (btw i think this might be my main issue)

The daily influence on my life is.

2 of my closest friends (one is a believer but hes also a VERY young Christian VERY young and the other one is a non believer typical college guy with the typical mind set.)

Facebook. *kinda gotta get rid of this having bad influence on me i think

its 6:40 am here this past like week ive been just sleeping late its becoming a bad habbit. Im going to even use this as an excuse not to go church. (if i go to church my folks like i said are going to give me an extremely hard time, and im being a coward about it caus i should be willing to face persecution for Christ)

Guys i know this was a lot to read but if you did than you obviously care. What do you suggest i do? and if you may please pray to God to show me weather im saved or not ask him to be bold with me and im sure he will either way. Just ask him to help me despise my ignorance towards his will.

There are elders that i can get in touch with. I guess its a no briner i should definitely do that.
Weifmeist or w/e ur name was. If i understood what you said correctly i can boldly say you are under the direct influence of satan i have never heard such a heresy from a “Christian” the pope doesnt even say stuff like that.
@Jason amen brother and i completely agree with you. The video was saying the same thing. Obviously we sin but even you will agree that even though Christians sin we have the desire not to and through the Holy spirit we conquer sin but im having a hard time conquering Sin so im just wondering if i have the holy spirit or if i do why isnt God filling me with its power so i can have the will power to stop what im doing

The only thing required of you to go to heaven was romans 10:9, but in order to be able to receive the blessings of God in your earthly life, you do need to obey God’s Word. When you confessed Romans 10:9, you received the Holy Spirit; you just need to study in the Bible all the things you’re having trouble with, and the put those teachings into practice in your life. Once you do that, you’ll notice those issues start to disappear with the help of God.
